Prof. Dr. Ali Hakan Kaya graduated from Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2005. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Istanbul Haseki Training and Research Hospital in 2010. In 2017, he became a Hematology subspecialist at Dr. Abdurrahman Yurtaslan Ankara Oncology Training and Research Hospital. In 2017, he received a Certificate in Clinical Research and Good Clinical Practice, and in 2018, he obtained a Certificate of Experience in Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation. In 2019, he was awarded the title of Associate Professor in the field of Hematology. He subsequently worked in hematology and stem cell transplantation clinics at various hospitals and most recently served as the responsible physician of the Bone Marrow Transplantation Unit at his last institution. He is currently working at Biruni University Hospital. Dr. Ali Hakan Kaya is a member of the Turkish Medical Association, Turkish Apheresis Society, Society of Hematologic Oncology, Blood and Bone Marrow Transplantation Society, and Hematologic Immunology Society. He has an intermediate level of English proficiency.
