RUA Heart Health Seminar for Beylikdüzü Municipality Employees
As part of April 12–18 Heart Health Week and our efforts to support public health, we held a seminar titled “Healthy Heart, Healthy Future” in collaboration with Beylikdüzü Municipality.
Approximately 150 municipal employees attended the event held at Beylikdüzü Atatürk Cultural Center. Cardiology Specialist Dr. Servet Batıt provided information during the seminar on maintaining heart health, reducing risk factors, and adopting healthy lifestyle habits.
Within the scope of the seminar, participants were given recommendations for a healthy lifestyle, and at the end of the event, body mass index measurements of the employees were carried out. These measurements aimed to increase individual health awareness.
Officials from Biruni University Faculty of Medicine Hospital stated that they aim to raise public awareness on the occasion of Heart Health Week and noted that similar educational and awareness activities will continue.
