RUEssential Emergency Response Training for the Workplace
As part of our Continuing Medical Education program, we hosted a scientific training session titled "Emergency Management in the Workplace: Initial Response, Stabilization, and Critical Patient Care" for workplace physicians and occupational health nurses.
The program, held in the Conference Hall of Biruni University Hospital, began with an opening address by Medical Director Prof. Mustafa Yaman. The program covered initial response procedures, stabilization processes, and the management of critically ill patients in emergencies that may occur in the workplace.
As part of the training, the traumatic emergencies panel addressed general principles of emergency care, head injuries, extremity injuries, thermal injuries, and electrical injuries. During the nontraumatic emergencies panel, specialist physicians provided information on neurological emergencies, heart attacks, acute respiratory failure, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Designed to strengthen scientific exchange and professional interaction, the training program concluded with a question and answer session. Participants were presented with certificates at the end of the program.
