RUInternational Meeting on Prostate Cancer Treatment Held at Biruni University
As Biruni University Medical Faculty Hospital, we hosted an international scientific program as part of the Prostate Focal Therapy Surgical Training initiative.
The program, coordinated by Urology Specialist Assoc. Prof. Emre Salabaş, brought together numerous urologists from across Europe. The training program, which also included physicians from Poland, focused on focal therapy for prostate cancer through theoretical sessions and discussions of surgical case experience.
As part of the program, specialists working in the fields of urology and prostate cancer surgery shared their knowledge and experience while reviewing current treatment approaches. The scientific sessions covered focal therapy for prostate cancer, contemporary surgical techniques, appropriate patient selection, and post treatment patient management strategies.
