A High Level Visit to Our Hospital from Montenegro

As part of the visit, the delegation was welcomed by Biruni University Faculty of Medicine Hospital General Manager Serap Kilerci Ulusal, Deputy General Managers Eser Şahin Foto and Zied Maamer, International Patient Center Director Bahadır Şahin, Europe Regional Director Fatma Deniz, and the hospital’s administrative team.

During the meeting, current developments in the healthcare field were discussed between the two parties, views were exchanged, and potential collaboration opportunities were evaluated. Comprehensive discussions were held on international patient services, health tourism, and advanced treatment methods.

Within the scope of the meeting, the specialist physicians of Biruni University Faculty of Medicine Hospital also delivered presentations. Medical Director and Chest Diseases Specialist Prof. Dr. Mustafa Yaman, Hematology Specialist Prof. Dr. Rafet Eren, Medical Genetics Specialist Prof. Dr. Zeynep Ocak, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Münir Demirel, Pediatrics and Pediatric Intensive Care Specialist Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayhan Yaman, and General Surgeon Dr. Lecturer Ertan Emek from the Organ Transplant Center provided information about specialized procedures performed at the hospital, as well as advanced diagnostic and treatment methods.

The visit was considered an important step toward developing potential collaborations between the two institutions in the field of healthcare.
