RUFinal Lecture by Prof. Dr. Dilek Sema Arıcı
A meaningful ceremony was held in honor of Prof. Dr. Dilek Sema Arıcı, former Dean of Biruni University, as part of March 14 Medicine Day.
Prof. Dr. Dilek Sema Arıcı, who shared the knowledge and experience she gained throughout her professional life with physicians and students, created emotional moments for the participants with her final lecture. At the end of the ceremony, flowers were presented to Prof. Dr. Dilek Sema Arıcı.
At the ceremony held in the hospital’s conference hall, Biruni University Rector Prof. Dr. Adnan Yüksel, Dean Prof. Dr. Esra Kaytan Sağlam, and Medical Director Prof. Dr. Mustafa Yaman each delivered speeches, emphasizing the meaning of March 14 Medicine Day and its importance for the healthcare community.
In his speech, Rector Prof. Dr. Adnan Yüksel stated that medicine is a unique profession that requires strong communication skills, dedication, and commitment, and expressed that this profession should almost be part of a person’s nature.
The program concluded with the presentation of plaques and awards to individuals who stood out in various fields within the university and hospital.
