Our Hospital’s 10th Anniversary Was Celebrated with an Iftar Dinner and Long Service Awards Ceremony!

At the iftar dinner held in the foyer area of our university, the hospital’s 10 year journey of development and the importance of institutional unity were emphasized.

“We have gained strong momentum in research and scientific production”

In his speech, our Rector Prof. Dr. Adnan Yüksel stated that Biruni University and Biruni University Faculty of Medicine Hospital have shown significant progress in research, education, and healthcare services since their establishment. Prof. Dr. Yüksel noted that academic output has been increasing every year through scientific projects and international collaborations, and emphasized that both the university and the hospital continue their efforts with the goal of becoming a center that produces knowledge in health and science.

“Our goal is to become the number one hospital in the world”

In her speech, our Hospital General Manager Serap Kilerci Ulusal expressed great happiness in celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Biruni family together and said, “I wholeheartedly celebrate the 10th anniversary of this wonderful family together with all of you. Today, we achieved this success together. From now on, our vision is not only to be a leading hospital in Türkiye, but to become the number one hospital in the world. I sincerely thank you all.”

“Important work will be carried out under this roof”

In his speech, our Medical Director Prof. Dr. Mustafa Yaman emphasized that there is a strong academic unity under the Biruni umbrella and expressed his confidence in the institution’s future. Referring to his more than 50 years of academic experience, Yaman stated that he believes young academics and physicians will carry Türkiye to higher levels through scientific production.

Our Chief Physician Dr. Lecturer Abdullah Sert stated that he has been working at the institution for approximately 9 years and expressed his pride in being part of the Biruni family. Dr. Sert noted that employees have made great efforts since the establishment of the hospital and expressed his hope that the institution will continue to be a center that fosters peace, science, and physicians who serve humanity.

Following the iftar program, plaques were presented to personnel who have served for 5 years or more as part of the 10th anniversary seniority awards ceremony.
