We Overcame Barriers Through the Power of Sport
We proudly took part in the ONE RUN Istanbul Race, organized in collaboration with the Turkish National Paralympic Committee and TESYEV to support our Paralympic athletes and raise awareness of accessibility and social inclusion.

At this meaningful event held on the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge with nearly 2,500 participants, Biruni University Hospital was proud to serve as the official healthcare sponsor while also taking part in the race. As our healthcare team supported the athletes throughout the event, our General Manager, Serap Kilerci Ulusal, and Deputy General Manager, Eser Şahin Foto, also joined the run and shared in the excitement.
We proudly stand behind every step taken toward an inclusive future and a barrier free life. We sincerely congratulate all participants who competed with determination in both the Accessible Run and General Category races.
Body Mass Index Assessments Conducted
At our healthcare booth, participants received body mass index assessments and were informed about their results. They were also provided with guidance on healthy weight management, regular physical activity, and balanced nutrition.

Our Healthcare Teams Were on Duty Throughout the Course
Throughout the event, our ambulance and bicycle paramedic teams were stationed along the course to ensure the safety of the athletes. Prepared to respond quickly to any medical emergencies, our teams contributed to the safe and smooth completion of the race.
Our Management Team Also Attended the Event
Our General Manager, Serap Kilerci Ulusal, and Deputy General Manager, Eser Şahin Foto, attended the event and met with athletes and participants. They also observed the healthcare services provided throughout the venue, emphasizing the positive impact of sports and healthy living on society.
Check Up Gift Vouchers Presented to Winning Athletes
During the award ceremony held after the races, athletes who placed among the top finishers received gift vouchers for check up packages prepared by our hospital. This initiative, aimed at encouraging regular health screenings, was warmly welcomed by the participants.
Our hospital continues to play an active role in social responsibility projects and sporting events that promote public health, contributing to the wider adoption of healthy living awareness.
